Loved the quirky layout and the cozy open fire after a day out in the cold. Great atmosphere at the nearby pub and convenient chip shop. Well-stocked village shop and a delicious full English breakfast at the downstairs cafe. The house had everything we needed, including towels. Fantastic find at short notice, will definitely use again.

loved our stay in Longnor, a cozy village in Staffordshire. Bank House | Peak District Villa exceeded our expectations with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The merchants kitchen nearby served the best meal we've had in a long time!
Noisy repairs in the evenings.

We stayed in a top floor room which was easily accessible. The layout of the room was quirky and we loved the addition of the open fireplace, especially after a cold day out. The pub just a few doors down had a great atmosphere, and the chip shop nearby was a convenient option when we didn't feel like cooking. The village shop was well stocked and the cafe downstairs offered a delicious full English breakfast. The house had all the facilities we needed and even provided towels.
The kitchen lighting was poor for cooking and there were not enough useful cooking utensils available.

We had a wonderful stay at Bank House in the Peak District. The medieval appearance of the house added so much charm and spirit to our experience. The spacious rooms and stunning views were truly breathtaking. We loved the kitchen and the opportunity to have family dinners. The central location was perfect for exploring the peaks and enjoying peaceful walks. The nearby village had everything we needed, from a well-stocked shop to great restaurants and cafes. The warm and cozy atmosphere of the house made us feel right at home. Despite a few minor inconveniences like poor Wi-Fi and some missing household items, our overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend Bank House for a relaxing and adventurous getaway in the beautiful Peak District.

Great location with easy access to nearby shops and a fish and chip shop. the property was well-equipped and comfortable, with lovely old furniture and a modern bathroom. the owner was responsive and accommodating, providing us with a hairdryer upon request. the bed was comfortable and we appreciated the hot shower. the house was also very clean, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the convenience of having walks right on the doorstep.
Some amenities were missing such as a bathmat, clothes airer, and toiletries. the kitchen had poor lighting for cooking, and there were limited cooking utensils available.

The view from the property was absolutely stunning, with gorgeous countryside stretching out as far as the eye could see. We also loved the character of the apartment, with its quirky and unique design. And the best part was the location, right in the heart of the village, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything that the area had to offer.
There were a few drawbacks that affected our stay. the bed was not very comfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Super clean, great location. Walkable distance to attractions. Owner quickly responded to my request. Comfy bed, loved the antique furniture and sloping floors. Modern bathroom with hot shower.

Really loved the quirky and historic feel of this place. the exposed beams and uneven floors added so much character. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the village with a shop, cafe, and pub all nearby. Being able to park right outside was a bonus. the cottage had all the cooking equipment we needed and plenty of hot water.
The creaky floorboards and uneven stone stairs might not suit everyone, but we didn't mind them. It would have been nice to have more comfortable beds and maybe a slipper bath in the bathroom.

Charming cottage. Excellent location between Buxton and Bakewell. Authentic furniture and cozy atmosphere. Quick response from the owner. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom.
Nothing, it is perfect.
